"Race to the Nineties" is a math board game for students to practice the skills of addition, subtraction, and place value. The game is made for 2-4 players, so students can work in small groups, or the game can be used as a center/station. Players follow instructions on a card to move their markers on a 100s chart while recording their moves on paper by writing the corresponding number sentence. The winner is the first one to make it to the 90s!
This game has simple rules (which can be accessed online), but is fun for students of varying skill levels. Let the races begin!
