A great game for small group centers. Students roll a dice and move that letter closer to the school. The first letter to reach the school wins! This game is a fun way for students to learn letters. Simply choose four letters that you want to focus on and place them on the bus with the number one. Roll the dice and start playing! My kids loved it. Enjoy!
Note: You will need to supply your own letters. I have foam letters from Lakeshore Learning that come in different colors, but this game could be played with any manipulative. (milk caps with letters written on them, buttons with letters written on them, etc.) You will also need a cube that you can write letters on that the children will roll. Since there are only four letters, I put stickers on the other sides of the dice and if the students rolled a sticker than that meant they had to roll again.
