Your students will love this game! It is great practice for adding and subtracting multiples of ten. I use it as a warm up once a week to keep these skills fresh in my students' minds. It would also make an interactive center activity!
Print the color or blackline floor mats and the small number cards. Laminate and cut out the small cards. You will also need a beanbag, a small stuffed animal, or a toy car.
Lay the floor mats out in a rectangle on the floor or on a table. Students take turns throwing a bean bag or rolling a car across the mats. Students draw a card, throw the beanbag, and add or subtract. I like to have all students answer on a whiteboard as fast as they can using a hundreds chart for support when needed.
