The Classic Racko inspired this game ordering integers, fractions, decimals, and 3- 4-digit numbers. My students loved playing the regular Racko game so much, I decided to make different cards with harder concepts. I had already taught the game's routine and structure, now with these cards I was able to add novelty and increase time working on ordering concepts and number sense. New math centers without having to teach them how to play a different game. Loved it!
An organizational tip: Print the 5 different sets on different colors.
Learning Support/ Self Check: Arrange the cards in order from least to greatest in a long stack with about 1/4 inch showing of each card. Use a marker & Yardstick to make a diagonal line at the top 1/4 of each card. If the students placed the cards in the correct order, there will be a straight diagonal line across the tops. If one does not "line up" they have not reached Racko yet.
