This lesson is an experiment that focuses on one of the types of heat transfer: Radiation. In this experiment, students test different colored papers to see which paper absorbs the most amount of heat. This experiment fits easily into a Heat Transfer Unit. This fun lesson takes the students through the scientific method.
I have used this lesson in my own classroom. The student were highly engaged when completing this experiment.
