This is an amazing race activity over radicals applications with 8 questions.
The questions are posted around the room. The student either solves the problem using the pythagorean theorem or the quadratic formula. Every question involves simplifying the radical as a part of the correct answer. Once they find their answer, they lift the flap to find an associated letter. After they gather all 8 correct letters, they are unscrambled to form a common 8-letter math word.
Directions, answer document and key included. Great for Algebra or Geometry!
