Another Raffi song that tied so well with what my kindergarten students are working on in their classroom. Every spring they plant a garden and I was so excited to teach then on the rotation where they were working hard on their garden so they would have some songs to sing outside while they worked.
After teaching them "ta" and working with seeing that "ta" is usually lined up with the steady beat, this is a good progression and they will discover that the phrase "in my garden" rhythmically moves faster than the steady beat.
This power point works for any grade level first learning their notes. I teach this to kindergarten and first grade. This is also a good song for introducing sol and mi to younger grades in a more focused way.
I am always looking to make improvements to my work; I would greatly appreciate if you rated the product and provide constructive feedback to help me improve my products for my own teaching and for your as well.
