The following six-page study guide film packet is used to accompany the Martin Scorsese-directed 1980 biographical sports drama film, Raging Bull. It can be used in an English or film studies classroom. The first page contains a list of cast and crew and a background and introduction on the film. The second page is a page that allows viewers to jot and take down their own notes. Pages three, four, and five contain comprehension questions to guide the viewer on the work's camera movement, characterization, cinematography, costume design, editing, plot, story, style, symbolism, and themes. The sixth page contains discussion questions on the work's acting, characterization, cinematography, themes, and the use/appropriateness of vulgarity, violence, and sexuality.
