Do you study rain forests or habitats with your students? This product will guide your children as they research an animal of the rain forest. It contains pages they can use to take notes and write a final copy. These are all black and white. Students will shade a diagram of the continents to show where their animal lives. They must draw a diagram of the animal and label parts of its body. Children will explain the life cycle of the animal. They will also include a glossary and bibliography. This is such a high interest topic and will work well with The Great Kapok Tree, The Umbrella and Rain Forest Secrets.
Also included is a more basic form that could be used for differentiation. Students must write an introduction sentence, write six facts and draw six small pictures to go with the facts and write a conclusion sentence.
