Presentation slides for ta and titi (on two separate slides in case you present them at different times). I have included slides with both stick notation (no note heads) and standard notation with note heads.
Practice slides for reading the rhythms (standard notation and stick notation)
Copy of the song and how to create your own rainstorm in your class using instruments and body percussion.
Student worksheets (print or project on board and fill out as a class)
Worksheet 1- Write the number of sounds you hear inside each heartbeat for the song Rain Rain Go Away (with words under heartbeats)
Worksheet 2- Write the rhythms inside each heartbeat for the song Rain Rain Go Away (no words under heartbeats for inner hearing)
Worksheet 3- Write the number of sounds you hear for each beat on the line below the umbrella
Worksheet 4- Write the rhythms you hear for each beat on the line below the umbrella
Worksheet 5- Cut and paste (or place) rhythms in the correct boxes for the song. You could also print on card stock and use this in centers with all of the rhythms pre-cut and laminated.
