A spring weather song for practicing rhythm, Do Re Mi introduction/practice, composition, and instrument playing.
Students will decode basic rhythms in the song. Then using those building blocks students will create their own umbrella rhythms, rhythms sentences, and more!
Students work to practice singing the melody using Solfa and are introduce or reinforce the use of Do Re Mi. Working as a group you can write the melody on the staff, or even have students find how the melody looks on their own.
Finally, there are instrument accompaniment parts for pitched and un-pitched percussion instruments.
