This is a game for a Small Group. This game is to practice automaticity with sight words.
To make: Print pages 3-5 on cardstock, cut cards, and laminate. I put my cards in a used/empty disinfecting wipes can (like Lysol or Clorox Wipes). Page 2 of this pdf is the label that I printed and glued to the disinfecting wipes can as a label. You could also just put the cards into a large can to play. If you’d like, you could store the cards in a plastic traveling bar soap container or just a plastic sandwich bag.
To Play: Mix all the cards together in the can. With children sitting in a circle, take turns passing the can around. On each players turn, the player draws a card and reads the word on the card. If they can read it (with help if needed), they get to keep it. If they draw a “Rained Out” card, they must put all their cards back into the can. Play continues until time is up. Whoever has the most cards at the end wins.
