I Love My Classroom

The purpose of Rainbow Edit is to encourage students in the editing process. Kids love colors, no matter the age. Rainbow Edit allows them to use colors on their rough drafts and complete a scavenger hunt as they check their papers for typical conventions. As they move through the colors, they notice their capitals, punctuation, indents, details, and spelling in each sentence. The colors also help them remember what they need to do on the district and state assessments.
