Description

This is a science non-fiction text about rainbows . It is an independent read for second and third grades but would make a great read-aloud for the kindergarten and first grade. It is paired with the tie-dyed milk experiment (which in this case you can call it the "make a rainbow experiment)." There is a follow-up poetry activity as well as graphic organizers on several levels for independent work after the reading. There are directions and recording sheets for the experiment and activities.
