This is a raincoat themed lotto game which introduces and reinforces common vocabulary words and descriptions of textures.
It also provides practice for sentence formulation with the use of nouns, the copula "is" and attributes.
Contains 8 different strips of raincoats with texture words written on them to use lotto boards. Also includes 18 raincoat cards with nouns pictured on each that can be matched with the texture words. I've also included 6 plain raincoat cards so you can add your own vocabulary.
I cut apart the strips and glued each to a piece of construction paper then laminated them. I laminated then cut apart the cards also.
Each child is given a lotto board and chooses picture cards to match the textures on his board. The student is asked to make up a sentence describing the item and its texture. Example, "The cactus is prickly."
