How Do I Use Silent Puzzles?
The purpose of a silent puzzle is to have a group of students (2-3 is ideal) work together to SILENTLY build their puzzle. Students do not know what they are putting together. This can be a great way to introduce a new unit of study or to get kids working cooperatively with their classmates.
Once students have built their puzzles, they can share out with the class. Students will need to figure out how all of their items fit together to guess the theme of the upcoming unit.
This pack features 5 black and white and 5 full color rainforest animal puzzles. This is a great opening activity when studying the rainforest.
