Sample Text:

Who lives in the rainforest?
Iguanas do.
And jaguars too!

Who lives in the rainforest?
Macaws do.
And monkeys too!

Make a Match Rainforest Animals Mat:

In a small group, center or independent work station, students will complete the the non-identical matching mat. In other words, they will match an iguana to an iguana, a jaguar to a jaguar etc. But the animals are not the same.

Rain Forest Animals Big Flips Matching Activities:

There are three sets included for students working at three different levels. Level 1--Matching rainforest animals, picture to picture. Level 2--Matching each rainforest animal to the word. Level 3--Matching each rainforest animal to the sentence that describes them.

Rainforest Animals Wh-Questions:

This set of WH Questions includes 20 different questions about rainforest animals. Students can indicate their answers by pointing, clipping, or using a dry erase marker. Sample questions include:

Which one has feathers?
Which one has scales?
Which one can fly?
Which one has four legs?
Which one has hair?

Interactive Bulletin Board Posters:

The interactive bulletin board posters can be displayed on your interactive bulletin board. Students can interact with the poster by matching the correct rainforest animal to each poster. You can also print and laminate a second set for your workstations or centers and put them on a metal ring to create another work task.
