Anyone can teach this super easy art lesson using our step by step powerpoint!
A great art lesson for Sound studies!
The slides do the teaching while you, your substitute or volunteer show the students the steps on the powerpoint. There's very little prep: paper cutting and filling palettes with paint. Add in some cotton swabs and a few marker tops and you are in business.
First the students learn about Aboriginal symbols. Then it's on to dot painting! Students will also review AB and ABC patterns.
While the paint dries, fill the tubes with the sound makers. Then glue on the painted paper cover, add tape to the ends, and listen to the sounds of the rain sticks!
