Brain research teaches us that adding an element of fun helps children learn! This game includes plenty of brain breaks to keep the learning extra fun while practicing prefixes and suffixes!
Why Use Rainy Day: Prefixes and Suffixes Game? Research tells us children need to constantly practice learned skills in order to keep those skills strong. This "rainy day" themed game is a fun way to practice prefixes and suffixes.
How it works: Children use this game board like any game, but they must first answer a question about a suffix or a prefix in order to take their turn. It can also be used as a Scoot game! (Directions are included!)
What's included: This is a spring rain-themed game board with 48-word cards for practicing base words with prefixes and suffixes. That's 24 prefix practice cards and 24 suffix practice cards. They can be separated for different games, or all mixed together!
Plus, to add a little fun AND motivation, I've included 12 built-in Brain Breaks!
Directions, answer sheets, and answer keys are included.
The game board can also be used to practice any number of other skills as well, just make your own cards!
