The Rap or Rhyme Project is fun and creative as students make a rap or rhyme about any short story or novel. A different way to summarize or review the story. Works great for a single story read as a class as well as to share separate stories or novels with other students. Includes self-reflection.
Students get into the text trying to include the important information as well as create a memorable rap or rhyme. Technically, a rap is a rhyme, but some students seem to find one more appealing.
Rap or Rhyme Project-- this version has the requirement of making a poster, film, presentation.
Rap or Rhyme Activity-- this version is for students writing or typing their rap, without making a project.
