Inspired by Draw Something, students are given 2 minutes to draw an object or topic that you give them (think pictionary), with the goal on creativity and drawing it from a non-standard take on things. Students are shown examples of ways to draw a given topic, with variations on perspective, zooming in, setting, etc.
You will be given a link to a folder on Google Drive, with a Google Slides presentation, ready to host direct to your Google Classroom.
This resource is not written in teacher terminology, but rather ready to present directly to students. Contains a Rubric for assessment.
May also be suited paired with my Drawing in Many Ways lesson. You will need to provide the drawing topics (examples are shared in the slideshow) and a 2 minute timer for your class. You will also want to have a large supply of drawing paper, as your class progresses. Teachers ask students to share samples between each round. Rounds can go as long or as short as your class time dictates.
