Do your kids love fairy tales, adventures and princesses? Students will immediately connect to this game’s kid-friendly, fairy tale theme and have a blast practicing their counting, number identification and directionality skills.
Poor Rapunzel’s been locked away for years up in the tower. Luckily, you’re here now! Climb the braids of Rapunzel’s loooooong hair to reach the top of the tower and rescue her.
Roll your dice and move along the spaces, starting at 1 and going up to 40— but watch out! If you land on one of the purple bows in Rapunzel’s hair, then you must slide down to the number at the bottom of the bow. However, if you land on a space with a thin rope of braids, then (LUCKY YOU!) you get to climb up to the number at the top of the braid.
Rapunzel Run is great for kids still learning to take turns, who are beginning to learn higher numbers and for kids ready to practice one-to-one correspondence & counting on.
Use one die to practice counting on by single digits or play with two dice to reinforce simple addition.
This download includes materials in both B&W and color.
