Sinopsis en español

Remy es una rata que vive en el corazón de París con sus amigos y familia de roedores. Sin embargo, y a diferencia de sus compañeros, tiene un sueño bastante peculiar. Quiere ser un cocinero profesional. Conseguirlo será difícil pues no cuenta con el apoyo de su familia, ni de los restaurantes, que desprecian a los roedores con todas sus ganas, más aún si el público se enterara que su plato fue cocinado por una rata. A pesar de tener todo en su contra, Remy, se cuela sin ser visto en un restaurante de cinco estrellas para mejorar los platos que allí elaboran. Linguini, un joven empleado recién llegado al lujoso restaurante le descubre. Sin embargo para su sorpresa, en vez de rechazarle y echarlo de la cocina, lo adopta como ayudante. El puesto del joven pende de un hilo. No cuenta con buenas dotes culinarias, por ello, llega a un acuerdo con la rata. Ella cocinará en secreto indicándole a él como hacerlo. Su plan es convertirse juntos en el mejor chef de París ¿Lo conseguirán?

Synopsis in English

In the hilarious new animated-adventure, Ratatouille, a rat named Remy dreams of becoming a great chef despite his family's wishes and the obvious problem of being a rat in a decidedly rodent-phobic profession. When fate places Remy in the city of Paris, he finds himself ideally situated beneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. Despite the apparent dangers of being an unwanted visitor in the kitchen at one of Paris' most exclusive restaurants, Remy forms an unlikely partnership with Linguini, the garbage boy, who inadvertently discovers Remy's amazing talents. They strike a deal, ultimately setting into motion a hilarious and exciting chain of extraordinary events that turns the culinary world of Paris upside down. Remy finds himself torn between following his dreams or returning forever to his previous existence as a rat. He learns the truth about friendship, family and having no choice but to be who he really is, a rat who wants to be a chef.
