PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students will be able to determine the rate of change (or slope) and initial value (or y-intercept) from a description, graph, table, ordered pairs, or equation. There are both proportional and nonproportional scenarios included. There are relationships with both positive and negative rate of change.

-30 Task Cards
-Student Workspace
-Answer Key
-Teacher's Guide w/ CCSS, Objectives, Materials, and Procedure

There are a variety of ways to use task cards, including but not limited to:
-Set up 5 stations with 6 cards at each station.
-Place each card at a different location around the room and have students move around to complete all 30.
-Give each student a different card to complete as a Problem of the Day or Exit Ticket. Have students trade with others so they complete 3-5 problems.
-Project some cards on the front board to discuss as a whole class.
-Print out and use them as worksheets or a packet.
