Rate of Change (Slope): Graffiti activity is a great activity for students to share their understanding of the many ways to find and describe the slope of a line. Students create a graffiti piece that shows slope. Two options included.

A great addition to your Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Algebra 2 study. My students love this activity. Use at math centers, station activities or for whole class practice and review.

Use similar triangles to explain why the slope m is the same between any two distinct points on a non-vertical line in the coordinate plane; derive the equation 𝘺 = 𝘮𝘹 for a line through the origin and the equation 𝘺 = 𝘮𝘹 + 𝘣 for a line intercepting the vertical axis at 𝘣.
