Showing Hollywood films in history classes can be tricky, but it doesn't have to be. I use a standard form at the beginning of the year to get parent permission and then the parents can see all of the possible films that could be shown. I often get comments from parents about the various movies they have seen (or haven't) and which ones they enjoyed the most or which ones they didn't. Either way, the students say it usually starts a conversation with their parents about them - and that is a good thing!
This form is in WORD format, so you can alter (add, remove, edit) it as you need for your classroom.
