Ratio Mystery Activity!
Use the ratio clue cards to calculate the missing numbers in the grid.
If you divide p in the ratio 7:3, you get the numbers in boxes a and d;
The ratio a:g = the ratio 3:k
There are three worksheets in this pack, of increasing difficulty:
Level 1: Involves simplifying and calculating ratios
Level 2: Includes dividing in a ratio
Level 3: Larger grid, more difficult ratio clues, requires more logic.
As an extension, students could make up their own mystery activity on ratio.
This activity is good for homework as it is easy to check students have answered all the questions correctly at a glance.
