Rate, Unit Rate, Unit Cost, d=rt,Task Cards

This is a fantastic set of task cards for your classroom. There are 32 task cards in this set. Questions on rate, unit rate, unit cost, and the d=rt formula are included in this set. Most of the questions are word problems. I have also included the answer sheet and answer key.

My Task Cards can be used to reinforce concepts, individual student practice, pair share activities, and assessment prep.

I highly recommend printing these task cards on card stock in color. Students find them more interesting and exciting when they see the color clip art. Laminate them if possible so that they can be used for years.

Rate and Unit Rate

This is a fantastic power point that I just used with my class. It covers the concept of rate, unit rate, and unit price. The power point can be used to teach a whole class or used independently by students. I have included partnering (pair share) opportunities. There are plenty of practice problems, word problems, graphic organizer, and a sum it up. Answers fly in when students have completed the problems with a click. The whole lesson is here!

Included are black and white printables that can be used with the power point.

Also included is one of my favorite group activities. Directions are provided. The activity reinforces the concept and makes real world connections.

All of my power points are common core aligned.
