Want to make 6th grade ratio and unit rate concepts fun and keep your students active? Well let your students travel around the room to round up the ratios!
Just cut out these 14 problems, and post them around the perimeter of your classroom. Place one or two students at each station. Your students will read the question and record their answers next to the corresponding number on their papers.
There is a key provided. There is even a special "While you Wait" section, so all students have something to do while they are waiting for you to give the signal to switch stations.
Topics include writing real-world ratios, finding equivalent ratios, writing ratio tables, finding and using unit rates, and graphing ratios.
