A set of fifty-six (56) task cards that covers the topic of RATIOS
. It contains problems with varying levels of difficulty which will provide excellent practice to students at all skill levels. You may use these task cards for individual or pair activities, group activities, math centers or stations, games, and even in whole class discussion.
For this activity, students will:
► Write ratios in three different ways (word form, ratio form, and fraction form) when comparing two quantities
► Write Part-to-Part and Part-to-Whole ratios from a given picture
► Answer True or False questions regarding ratios
► Tell whether the ratios are equivalent
► Select from the choices the ratio that is equivalent to the given ratio or value (multiple choice)
► Select from the choices the ratio that is NOT equivalent to the given ratio or value (multiple choice)
► Identify which two groups are being compared by a given ratio
► Use data from tables to write ratios
► Select a dot on a number line that represents the correct ratio
► Fill in the blanks to complete sentences involving ratios
► Solve ratio word problems
