For this activity, the teacher will print the pages, cut the four problems apart, and divide the students into groups of 4. The students will each be given one of the slips of paper and work ONLY THE FIRST STEP of their given problem. After all students have completed the first step, the students will rotate the slips of paper clockwise within their groups. This will continue until all problems are worked completely. It is important that students check the previous step for correctness before completing the next step of the problem. This will make sure that students are practicing the mindset of how to solve problems, while also addressing misconceptions and encouraging peer teaching.
