This activity helps students practice and remediate their mistakes in simplifying rational expressions, multiplying rational expressions, and dividing rational expressions. There are three in-depth problems on this worksheet, to be used for a practice or review of the content.
Directions: Students will sit face to face with a partner. (I usually create a circle of desks around the room with an inner circle and an outer circle.) They each are given a different problem but will end up getting matching answers. If they do not get the same answer they must work with their partner to see who made mistake and how to fix it.
My students worked really well together and were amazed that they were getting the right answers!
