Rational Expressions Scavenger Hunt (All Operations)
This scavenger hunt activity consists of 16 problems in which students practice simplifying, adding (like and unlike denominators), subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational expressions. Opposite binomial factors are included. This activity was written for an Algebra 2 level class.
Simply print the 16 problems and scatter around the room (and in the hallway if possible), give each student a recording worksheet, group students, and assign them a place to start. The answer they get will lead them to their next problem. They continue looping around until they have completed all 16 stations.
This activity works very well in conjunction with my Algebra 2 Rational Functions Unit.
