This worksheet is used after teaching vertical, horizontal, slant and quadratic asymptotes of Rational Functions. Questions include working backwards (given the graph, write an equation) which includes work with vertical, horizontal and slant aymptotes, x intercepts and y intercepts. There is also a question where the student must work long division backwards for the slant asymptote. There are questions that require writing describing when asymptotes occur and what they look like. Also included is a question where there initially looks like a quadratic asymptote, but because it divides evenly, the graph is on top of the aymptote. Good worksheet to use either before or after testing. I used it after testing in a group setting so students could discuss and make connections. Good conversation.
