Rational Functions - Asymptotes Task Cards
Task Cards really do work! They get the students engaged and keep them motivated to go through all of the problems, more so than a simple worksheet.
Designed for Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus, this activity is great practice for learning about asymptotes and rational functions. Your students will find horizontal, vertical, and slant asymptotes as well as holes. They will also match a graph to its equation. Use as Task Cards or Station Cards. A handout on how to best use these in your classroom is included. Some questions are multiple choice.
Included in the Lesson:
☑ 16 Task cards
☑ Answer key
☑ Additional Handout with 12 questions. The handout can be used as Homework, an Assessment, or enrichment.
☑ Student response sheet
