This Google Slide resource is a new engaging way have your students practice graphing and determining the characteristics of Rational Functions. It is interactive, engaging, and fun, plus it is NO PREP for you
Students find the domain, range, horizontal asymptotes, vertical asymptotes, holes, x – intercepts, y-intercepts, and slant asymptotes when applicable. I have included slant (oblique) asymptotes on the last three slides. These can be deleted if that topic is not in your curriculum.
After analyzing the characteristics and properties, students choose the correct graph from three choices, then add the asymptotes. Great as a reference later and as a digital organizer
There are eleven problems for your students to solve. Rigorous and fun in a digital environment. Answer keys are included. A printable version
of the problems is included just in case of a bad tech day or a blended class. There is a blank problem template for you to customize the printable resource. The printable version can also be used for Task or Station Cards.
Students should not need a graphing calculator.
