This packet is also explained a bit in the preview. This project is based on Albert Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. It explains some of the principles of the Theory in a simple way for the students. The purpose is to expose them to the work that has had so much effect of science today, even including GPS time data. The student is provided some of Einstein's equations and then asked to solve some problems and create some graphs. The student is also introduced to the Trappist-1 solar system and asked to solve a problem about it. This project is suitable for both algebra 2 students and precalculus students.
The packet includes four versions in a form able to be directly copied and distributed to your class. The answers are provided and presented in a detailed manner, explaining each step of the solution. The packet also includes teacher directions, grading rubrics.
