This graphic organizer uses the Frayer Model concept with modifications. This is meant to be used as a review guide for the Rational Functions unit.
This organizer can be used over a period of 1-2 days, depending on the questions and concerns that arise; it could also be combined with 1 or 2 days of practice of all these concepts.
The topics included are the following:
Defining and using direct and inverse variation.
Graphing rational functions and their families, for example: y= 1/x and y=1/(x-5)+3
Simplifying rational expressions.
Adding and subtracting rational expressions.
Multiplying and Dividing rational expressions.
Simplifying complex fractions.
Solving rational equations.
