This mini book for pre-algebra will help students explore rational and irrational numbers. Writing in math class helps students to retain and understand new concepts. They will ponder...Why, What, Where, How? This resource will make a great addition to interactive notebooks! Please note...this product is part of my money-saving Get Rational Bundle.
Check it out below and get even more problems to practice with students.
*2 sheets which are made into the mini book. 7 extended response questions.
These activity pages align with these Common Core Standards:
8.NS.1: Know that numbers that are not rational are called irrational. Understand informally that every number has a decimal expansion; for rational numbers show that the decimal expansion repeats eventually, and convert a decimal expansion which repeats eventually into a rational number.
8.NS.2: Use rational approximations of irrational numbers to compare the size of irrational numbers, locate them approximately on a number line diagram, and estimate the value of expressions.
