PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Unique, interesting, fun & effective !

Every title in the series of “Can you guess which one?“ games comes in three formats:
Smart Notebook, Power Point and pdf, all of which are highly interactive.

They are a great way to teach, reinforce or review rational numbers. Its informal yet challenging approach creates an atmosphere of excitement where students want to uncover the answer rather than feeling that it is just another set of mundane questions to answer.

This game can be purchased separately or in one of two different bundles. Click Here to view the options.

Students must be able to recognize rational and irrational numbers to play this game.

This game consists of 12 separate pages each with 4 different expressions to consider. Three of the expressions are rational, the fourth is irrational. Students must correctly identify which one is irrational. The approach taken helps students to further develop their understanding of the difference between rational and irrational numbers. (please check out the accompanying preview for a more complete description of how it works, what it looks like and all that is included)

The original concept was conceived to allow large groups to play all at once, such as an entire class. But, it also comes in printable Task Cards or Worksheets w/answer keys for smaller groups or as supplementary/extension materials for individuals at any point on the ability continuum. Finally, a pdf student response sheet, useful for all of the above mentioned formats is included. By design, this invaluable resource provides the flexibility you need so that it can be used in almost every classroom situation with almost every level of skill.
