It is time to combine mathematics with writing and creativity. This number cubes or cards activity lets students review the rules for adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, comparing and converting fractions. It may be done in small groups or rotation cycles. But it requires students to write stories about the computation results. Students may draw illustrations for their stories on the scenery sheets. Finally, they should staple or glue the pages to make a booklet.
