These instructional notes introduce rational numbers and describe the connection between fractions and decimals, as well as the steps for converting a fraction to a decimal and a decimal to a fraction.
The notes are designed for students to write down themselves into a notebook, interactive notebook, or used to introduce a topic or at the end of a lesson to summarize the concepts.
This file can be uploaded to Google Classroom as a Google Slides document and viewed on "Present" mode if you would like students to use this individually or even at home for front-loading a lesson or reviewing a lesson prior to an assessment.
The 8 slides are designed to present the information a bit at a time. They are not 8 unique slides, but rather use animation to add information a piece at a time so that teachers can present the information without overwhelming the students with too much, too quickly.
