Game: I had the idea to turn this boring worksheet into a fun, collaborative game. Students sit in rows or groups up to six and each get one of these game sheets. You will need one die. Students will work one problem at a time (allow anywhere between 1-3 minutes). You will call time and roll the die. The students in the seat number revealed from the die have to bring their paper up and discretely write their answer on the board (there will be one student from each row or group). You will check it and award points (I usually award one point for a correct answer).
They love this and it is a great alternative to a worksheet. It holds students accountable as they never know when their number will be called. Encourage collaboration and have fun! Also, shout out to Glitter Crayons and Little Hands for the fonts I used: Purple Lemonade and Purple Peach!
