This worksheet is combines ratios and basketball into one fun lesson.
I used crumbled up paper as the basketballs and different size baskets as the hoop. You will determine 3 different shots that all of the students will take. For example, the shot could be "7 feet away, basket on floor". Another could be "10 feet away, basket on a desk". I would include the class in what they wanted the shots to be.
Each student gets the same amount of basketballs (crumbled paper). I usually did 10. They will take all of their shots for that round and complete their chart after. The other students would help keep track, cheer them on, etc. Once all of done the first shot and completed their table, then move on to the second shot, and so on.
After all shots are taken, students will determine what their best and worst shot ratios were.
