Included is a lesson plan, worksheets and an exit card. This lesson involves an introductory four corners activity. From there the students complete four different activities at four different stations. The main goal being to have them apply ratios and proportions to real world scenarios. The students flip coins, use coloured tiles, a graphing calculator application, and juice crystals. The lesson ends with an exit slip.
I have found great success with this lesson each year. I use it as a reference throughout the unit. The students love it!
