After you have taught ratios, rates, unit rate, and rate of change, do you find your students struggle to figure out the difference when faced with a mixture of questions? I have put together a cut and paste organizer that will help you review 3 of each type of the following: ratios, ratios involving measurement, unit rate, comparing unit rates, and rate of change. Students must decide what type of question they are reading and put it in the appropriate column. After they have organized the questions, then they must solve them. I have done this with my students and it really was challenging, but it was a good tool to help them discuss and figure out rate questions. An answer key is included!
