PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students build a deep understanding of ratios by creating bar models to represent proportional relationships.
Students will develop an understanding of part to part ratio questions as well as part to whole ratio questions. Students will be given a variety of different information, and will be asked a variety of different questions. By developing a visual display of the ratios, students will easily answer the questions.

~Students will be able to distinguish between the following types of statements:
a. The ratio of boys to girls is 1:3
b. 4 out of 5 students are girls
~ Students will be able to find a variety of types of information when given various different information such as:
a. The amount in part 1
b. The total amount in part 1 and part 2
c. How much larger part 1 is than part 2
