This assignment focuses on a single theme and is most often given as homework, but could be completed in class as well. Students should be able to complete “job” worksheets on their own.
RAY TRACING 4 - IMAGES IN A DIVERGING LENS
Objects are placed at a series of distances from a diverging lens. Draw enough principal rays to establish the location and size of the resulting image. Then characterize that image: upright or inverted, enlarged or reduced, real or virtual.
