Product Description
Students must draw examples of each biomolecule behind the appropriate cover page flap. Each biomolecule has both a hydrolysis and dehydration reaction illustrated, student must label the arrows appropriately. I always remind students that the arrow head will always point at the products therefore the reactants must be before the arrow (when flap is closed the other flap must be open in that row). Students must also track OH and H moved by shading or circling those being affected in the molecules to give or absorb H2O. Note that the first row with the word monomer and polymer there is space below these words so that students can draw their own understanding of what a monomer and polymer are. (example students can draw two Legos with a plus sign in the middle for monomers and for polymers draw the two Legos stacked on top of each other)
