What’s included in this pack:
1) 3 Versions of “Oh, The Places You’ll Go,” writing template – one with upper elementary lines, one with primary lines, and then the same but with a colored background. After reading the story, have students write about either: What they want to be w hen they grow up and why, or what goals they have in their life right now and how they can achieve them. Of course, you can come up with any topic as well.
You can also have them draw themselves in the hot air balloon that is on the writing prompt.
2) “When Thing 1 and Thing 2 came to my house,” writing prompt...both types of writing lines included. After reading the story, have students write their own version of how those two creatures came to their house and what they did. You can attach a cute craft of Thing 1 and Thing 2 which can be found on many places such as Pintrest or other websites.
3) An “I am Special” photo activity. Inspired by a famous quote, students will get to write about three things that make them special or unique. Attach a real picture onto the paper or have students draw themselves
4) The Lorax Sequencing activity. Have students read the story and then use the Truffula Trees to sequence the story.
